Dynasty displays excellent growth and muscling while retaining softness and loose skin indicating he has a lot of growth ahead of him. A frame score 6.8 bull with length, depth, strong bone and good feet, Dynasty (bred from a Tasmanian bull out of a Victorian cow) is the out-cross we have been looking for.
As a 14 month bull at the Royal Adelaide Show, Dynasty weighed in at 605kg and scanned an EMA of
100 square cms. At 17 months he weighed 733kg with a scrotal size of 45cm. His 600 day weight, scrotal size EBV and all 3 indices are in the top 3% of the breed.

MT PLEASANT SHOW MARCH 2007

Fairview Ridge had a very successful day with our senior sire Fairview Ridge Zeus taking out the Champion British Breed Bull ribbon. In second place was our junior bull Fairview Ridge Azimuth with the Reserve Championship. This was the third successive year that Zeus has won a championship broad ribbon at the Mt Pleasant Show.

Another highlight for us was our 10 month old heifer FVR Miss Rosie placing first in the British Breed under 18 month class from a very strong field of 14 entries. This class was the most competitive of the show and the judge saw Miss Rosie as a "clear winner".

MT BARKER SHOW MARCH 2007

One week after the Mt Pleasant Show we took junior bull FVR Azimuth and junior heifer
FVR Miss Rosie to Mt Barker. Azimuth was judged Champion British Breed Bull and followed with Grand Champion Bull All Breeds. Miss Rosie won the corresponding titles for females.
In the final event Azimuth was awarded Supreme Champion Beef Exhibit with the heifer in second place.

COULD THIS BE A FIRST?

How often does an animal win a second Junior Championship at the same show twelve months after the first?  At the annual Murray Grey Feature Show held at Mt Pleasant SA in March 2005, Fairview Ridge Zeus was Junior Champion Bull at five months of age and in March 2006 he was awarded the same title again, this time at seventeen months.
